Okay friends, so this is a list of Toys that I like, but have something wrong about them, or something that I would change because it urks me. Perhaps you can avoid buying them, or perhaps just be warned...
Item 1: Fischer Price Take Along Projector Soother
While my little Benjamin is totally enamoured with this device when I have it on, however it's not soothing. It's in fact a sleep distract, even though it is fun to watch his little face light up in wonder, it's more something to use perhaps during feeding with a bottle when their heads are already pointing up... Another thing, is that on Amazon the photo of the child carrying this item is very deceiving. DO not allow a baby or child to handle this item because the light that shines out of it is blinding! It also does not operate without the music or water sounds. It would be nice if I could at least use it as a night light down the line, but the music is so loud, again I think it would pose a greater distraction than a soothing device. On the plus side the projector has an extremely long range, and like i said before, as long as your child does NOT handle this item, it is fun for them to look at...
Item 2: Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes... This is a great toy, but there is one thing that urks me about it... Ben loves drooling on it, slobbering on it, and trying to eat it. So knowing this toy would be handled so much, why on earth would the button have sticker material on it? Could they NOT have invested in something a bit more reliable to wear and tear? Even a solid colored plastic button would have been better, cause the images on the button are now wearing off due to the poor planning of an otherwise wonderful infant toy.
