Favorite Things Part 1: mommy products

Some wonderful things for Mommies: If you are breastfeeding, use a single pump, or just don't like the look of maternity and sports bras never giving you any shape up top, I love these, they are by Medela, you can put them on to collect extra B-milk while using a single pump, or just put them on to improve the look of your boobs that are always pressed into unshapely sports or maternity bras, or just to reduce soreness, and let your ladies get a rest from being squashed. These come with foam inserts to suck up milk or moisture, although sometimes I can place a thin pad in them that does the same job. When you are done, you can boil or sterilize them for a perfect clean:

Shinkxhips, before I delivered I had alot of problems with my hips, and them hurting, after I delivered I popped this thing on right away, not only did it help with hip pain, but I feel it did help my hips from being out of line and widened. I am not fitting into all my pants, but most of them, and the fitting has nothing to do with my hips, but more my weight. I wore it the most when I knew I'd be doing a good bit of sitting and at night. But for the first 3 months I wore it all the time, and on days I didn't wear it as much, I had pain in my hips. You can wear it under your maternity pants (after you deliver) and yes that means you aren't going to just pop back into your pre-preggie pants right away ladies, sorry, but this will help you get there faster, with less discomfort. Worth the money, in my opinion. You can also wear it over your pants, like at night, very easy to place over cotton jammie pants.

Great before and after baby! I got into a couple pairs of my pants right away using this little gadget, great for those first few months, and after delivery...

And PS, your stomach will look NOTHING like this image after you deliver... lol

Bathtime isn't so bad if you aren't rubbing your poor knees after each bath, I got one of these after many years of nannying and NOT having anything to really buffer my poor knees other than a scrunched out towel. You will love them. I got mine at Target, although I am sure they sell other styles and prints elsewhere. Great investment for a new mommy: http://www.target.com/Bath-Time-Kneeling-Pad/dp/B004K0WIUG
